Follow the daily diary entries of a young girl escaping a zombie-apocalypse-torn London with her family, in search of salvation.
London fell in a few days. An unknown sickness spread turning friends and loved ones into violent, cannibalistic creatures and seemingly causing the dead to rise. But it is not just the animalistic flesh eating monsters that pose as a threat to survivors - without order, the human race can be the most dangerous of animals.
You've heard the hero's story, tales of struggle from the scraps of the living have been told - but how would the purest of young minds fathom the chaos that is now the world?
It's been a year to the day since #ZombieDaily start - and for now we are bringing it to a close... But it's not the last you'll see of our narrator, or #Bowie...
Thank you to everyone who has followed her's and Dad's journey through the #Zombie Apocalypse.
We've got a lot more in store for you in 2017... And we can't wait to show you.
Just one last trip out - I know I’ll get in trouble... again... but just this once more...
I’ve got my sickle, skateboard and the golden gun and I’m ready.
It’s a nice day today - I probably don’t need my coat.
Here I come Dad...
My Auntie Jackie gave me this diary for my last birthday.
I bet she couldn’t imagine that it would be as an important part of my life as it has been...
And not for writing about school, or boys - or anything like that. But for writing about the end of the world...
Or the beginning of another. I’m not sure yet!
“I’m so proud of you - you have both been stronger than I could’ve ever hoped my daughters to be.
You’re the future of this world, if there’s going to be more people in it like you two, then it’s going to be a far better place than it ever was before.
I love you very, very much.”
There were those that remained loyal to their leader, but the rest angrily rallied against him.
“We’re sick, and YOU made us sick - we need proper medical attention, which we’re definitely not going to get from you.
”You no longer have a say in what we do - and what we’re going to do is go back to London.”
